Auction Watch... |
| The auction watch features notifies you of newly listed auctions which contain keywords you have chosen.
For example if you are looking for a Playstation 2 you could enter in those keywords from within your members area.
Each time a new auction is listed containing the term Playstation 2 you will be notified through White Elephant Auctions automated email.
You can enter in as many keywords as you like.... |

| Dutch auctions ... |
| On a Dutch Auction, the seller has more items of the same product for sale.
The bidder will enter a maximum bid he is willing to pay for an item, and the number of items he wants to purchase.
The highest bidder(s) will receive the number of items they have bid on, and the remaining bidders will receive the number of items still available.
Buyers are able to bid more than once for the same item.... |

| Hi guys, I am going on holidays very soon and need to put my shop on holiday mode.
I went to my shop home page and pressed enable shop - NO.
Is this all I have to do? Can they see my shop items or does it all blank out which disabled.

| no sorry Shar as you now know if you "close" your shop any items there are put onto the main listings and when you reactivate your shop you have to revise them to show both... |

| What this means is if you are a member at any of the following auction sites: EBAY , YAHOO , AMAZON , OVERSTOCK OR EBID, and you have a good feedback score there, you can transport your feedback score from that site(s) and use it here at White Elephant Auctions.
If you've built up a good reputation somewhere else, we'll accept it here at White Elephant Auctions, you won't need to start here with a "0" score.

| Once you have signed up for an account, you will be able to sell items through the site.
Click on the Sell link located at the top of the page:
Step 1: Select the main category of the product or service you want to sell.
This feature has been made in order to ease the subcategory choosing process.
No items can be sold by choosing only the main category, you will have to choose a subcategory for it (if available).
Click "Continue".

Although White elephant auctions do not Charge for a Basic Listing IE: not featured, hightlighted, Multimedia or other extras
An Insertion Fee is a listing fee that includes the added features.
It is the price White Elephant Auctions charge for listing your item for sale.
This fee is charged to your seller's account at the time of listing.

| Hi Sarah jane it seems ebay have got upset with our robot going on their site if you let me know your username on ebay at support@white-elephant.com.au I will add it to you feedback on here for the time being also I will look through my archives for the site that gives you a code to use that will put your latest ebay feedback on your listings for you.

| Once a sale has been processed, both the seller and the buyer will be able to leave feedback for each other.
The feedback rating is from one to five stars, and a feedback comment can also be left.
The feedback can be left from the Feedback tab in the Members Area .
The feedback can only be left once, and it cannot be edited.
White elephant auctions will reserve its right to delete malicious or untrue feedback.

| When I first joined I filled out the Selling Preferences and added a description for an item I kept posting, I now want to post a new item but it keeps remembering the old description and won't let me remove it from the Selling Preferences section. I originally used HTML but even though I remove it, it keeps coming back. HELP! I can't add any new items!

I have created a new auction for you using the selling tab above you can edit it and make any changes you wish to make.
Any probs please email us support@white-elephant.com.au and if necessary have have a support program for us to help you which you can download from http://white-elephant.com.au/support/support.exe all you will need to do is send us the id and password and we wil be able to see what you problem is.

| To save time when listing, you have a "Selling Preferences" page in your members area where you can setup an auction template which will pre-fill any fields you want to keep the same throughout your listings, you can also disable/enable certain other fields in this template such as "Item Location" so it is automatically entered into your listings and you won't have to enter it everytime you list etc.
